SMSTS Five-day (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

The SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) is a five-day course.

This industry recognised course will provide delegates who need to meet the ever-increasing demand for evidence of health and safety compliance with all the relevant knowledge to meet today’s legislative demands.

Course content

The SMSTS course covers the Health & Safety at Work Act and the Regulations relevant to the construction industry and includes:

• CDM
• Risk Assessment
• Method Statements
• Scaffolding
• Electricity
• Excavations
• Demolition
• Confined Spaces

Training method

The SMSTS is a highly participative course, with case study exercises.

The SMSTS course can be arranged to meet client’s timetables and work schedules. As an alternative, places can be booked onto our open / multi client-based courses.

Certification

The delegates who successfully completes this SMSTS course will receive an accredited CITB Site Safety Plus certificate that is valid for five years.
