The Refresher course will update your knowledge of your responsibilities for site safety, health, welfare, and the environment.

By taking this course it renews your SMSTS certificate for a further 5 years

This industry-recognised course will provide delegates to continue to meet the ever-increasing demand for evidence of health and safety compliance with all the relevant knowledge to meet today’s legislative demands.

Course content

The SMSTS course covers the

• Health & Safety at Work Act and the Regulations relevant to the he current focus of the Health and Safety Executive’s attention
• Risk assessment and method statements
• Construction Site Health, Safety and Welfare
• Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)
• Behavioural safety
• Occupational health
• Overview and changes to the current legislation affecting construction.

The SMSTS Refresher course can be arranged to meet client’s time-tables and work schedules. As an alternative, places can be booked onto our open / multi-client-based courses.

Certification

The delegates who successfully completes this SMSTS Refresher  course will receive a Certificate that is valid for a further five years.
